Things To Do

Take a leisurely stroll, morning jog, or bike ride
down Lavallette's beautiful mile long boardwalk. Beach access is located
on every street end.
Lifeguards are on duty from 10AM - 5PM
weekdays and until 6pm on weekends and holidays
during the summer season. All bathers in
Lavallette must swim in the designated areas
while the lifeguards are on duty. Boogie
boarding is allowed between the white and blue
flags.
Surfing spots are located at Haddonfield Ave, Brown
Ave, and Trenton Ave. Any question concerning the beach and lifeguards
should be directed to the lifeguard headquarters at Philadelphia & Beachfront or
at 732-793-2566.
Beach Badges are sold at the Beach Badge Office
adjacent to the Police Department. The office is open Friday through
Monday 9AM - 3PM. Badge Prices can be found on the Borough of Lavallette
Website. Daily badges
may be bought at the entrances to the beachfront. The Beach Badge Office's
number is 732-793-2111.
Seaside Heights Summer fireworks display
can be viewed nicely from Lavallette's beachfront. The displays start July
4 and every Wednesday night after at 9:00PM, weather permitting, until Labor
Day.
Bay
Bay swimming beaches are located at Bay Blvd
& Brooklyn Ave and Bay Blvd & Reese Ave.
You must purchase the same badges as mentioned
above for these areas.

Drive West Point Island.
Bay front sports:
Tennis, Basketball Courts, Shuffle board, and Boccie Ball.
At Magee Avenue & Bay Boulevard.
Tennis Court time in the summer must be paid for
during certain hours. Hours will be posted at Magee Avenue & Bay Boulevard.
Other bay front activities include: Biking,
swimming,
fishing, crabbing, windsurfing, kite boarding, kayaking, boating, and water skiing.
Boat launch ramp located
at Bay Blvd between Brooklyn Ave and New Brunswick Ave Next to the West
Point Island Bridge.
(permit required to use ramp from Memorial day to Labor day, available
from Lavallette Beach Badge Office.)
Crabbing docks are located at Bay Blvd
& Magee Ave. and at Bay Blvd & Reese Ave.
For The Kids
Swimming,
Surfing, Skim Boarding, Boogie Boarding,
Snorkeling, Ocean Kayaking.
Building Sandcastles, Flying Kites.
Or go for a morning bike ride on the boardwalk from 6am to 10am on the
boardwalk.
Seaside
Heights weekly fireworks can be viewed nicely from the Lavallette beach every Wednesday
night, weather permitting.
